I live in a beautiful, small town in the mountains of Colorado with my husband of five years, Tim, and our two girls, Ellie, born in 2007, and Emma, born in the early summer of 2009. The three of them are the delight of my life and the joy of my heart. Watching my girls grow into who they are created to be and discover their gifts, talents, and loves is one of the things that thrills me most in the world.

Besides being a mommy, I work alongside my husband to form The Blackthorn Project, a 501(c)(3) organization with the goal of helping people encounter and be transformed by Jesus and the message of his Kingdom. Together we write songs about the work of the Father in our lives, and we can be seen playing music and teaching wherever believing communities gather. We have recorded several albums together, which can all be found here.

I love a house filled with happy chaos. I love to throw parties. I love to encourage people to find their identity in the Father’s love. Currently, I’m also loving conquering my fear of crafts.
