Good Song Sunday–Reckless

Okay, so I know it’s not Sunday. It’s Monday. But here I am, and we’ll just have Good Song Sunday on Monday this week.

Caution: What you are about to see reveals my chaos. I probably should have done it again, when the kids are in bed, when the house is cleaned up, when I have some make-up on. But I think once you watch, you’ll see why I chose not to. My kids are just too cute.

So here’s Reckless. It’s another new one, and I wrote it for little Emma Rose.

  • Laurie – I love it!!! It gave me goosebumps. And Nate and I had a chuckle when you started out saying that the last take was interrupted by a barfing dog. That made me miss you – you just have a way of expressing yourself :) .

    Thanks, Bonnie! I don’t see why I couldn’t post lyrics–besides the fact that they’re always in danger of being changed at the last minute :) That’s great feedback. In the future, if it’s my song featured on Good Song Sunday (I’m hoping it won’t always be) I’ll make sure I post the lyrics, too.

    My favorite part:

    This song fits in so beautifully in how God is speaking to me in this season of my life. Especially the last line “and on his love my hopes are hung”.
